Hey everyone

Hey I know I haven't checked in for a while, I have been busy doing some vacationing.
I have been looking all around for the Haurhi Coffee but no luck still..I have seen tons and tons of EVA coffee I could buy it by the case full If I wanted to. Every shop that has a Haurhi section has no Coffee, or canned beverage...so I am going to give up on Akiba for that an take a look at the Sun Mall. If I can't buy it there then I give up.

As for the picture of stuff I bought that has been the past 2 days.
Today I really needed some laundry soap, luckily I found some at the 100yen shop on the way to Akihabara. I also bought so packing tape The total came to under 250yen I only hope that the soap I bought is a "good" kind and won't ruin my clothes.

While I was in Akihabara's kotobukiya (which on a website said that they have found the Haruhi coffee there but no such luck) I bought some cool stuff, like the Nightmare Before Christmas, blanket, the little things on the sides of the coffin "wallet" and the coffin "wallet" it's self, and some Phoenix Wright 3 pins( which is the DS game I am currently playing) and a Final Fantasy VII Vincent's crest thingy keyring(which I have attached to my DS, although. (It would be more appropriate that I have some PW dangler thing from my DS) I also sew necklase version of the "Materia" Holy and Meteo...but they are about $126.00 for each. So unless you are a real die hard fan for they are real, I can;t see myself spending that much money on something like that.

Some of you maybe thinking is that a Haruhi DVD? Why did he buy a DVD when they are so expensive in Akiba? Because it's not a DVD, it's a PC game, a cool concept of a game that I just had to pick up. I bough this from a indy game store that sells a bunch of games that Independent people make. This one takes a bit from the Haruhi Anime it's self and runs with it, I am of course referring to the Ep where they had a bit where they had mimicked Phoenix Wright(the one with the murder mystery), yes a Harhui/Phoenix Wright cross over..I would love to play it, but Windows Vista sucks.

Tomorrow there is an event I want to goto over at all the Volks stores, but I don't know what shop to goto...The last shop I was in(which is a showroom) had the dollfie I wanted I took one look at her face an I was in love. So I now have the money to get the one thing I really, really, wanted to get while I was here. This will be the only huge expense while I am here. I think for a change I will check out the Harajuku Volks store and maybe I will find the Dollfie that I wanted even more than the one I was today. Which is why I didn't go and buy her when I was there.

Alright talk to you later.

Busy doing vacationing... I like that! :D Sounds like everybody wants Haruhi, including Sakura. It will probably be one of those things you will stumble across when you're looking for something else; that's usually how these things work out.

Like the NBX stuff. Weird how it's so popular over there. Hey, I just remembered -- Halloween is coming soon. I wonder if there are any Halloween events you can crash while you're over there. There used to be a giant roaming costume party on the Yamanote, but I think the authorities shut it down. It was getting to rowdy as I understand it, too many drunk Aussies.

Good luck playing that Haruhi game... maybe you can play it with a Japanese speaker for help? Interesting about indy games -- so it's like dojinshi, but for gamers? Weird! What other titles do they have?

Have fun with those soul-sucking nightmare-inducing husks... er, I mean, Dollfies. T_T

Ya but accorind to the kotobukiya webdsite it's sold out, or least that is what I can gather from the translation capabiltys of Altavista
the blue text says" It's Sold"
here is the page for it.

I should check the Tokyo Classifieds see of they have anything going on the 31st.

Also one week until the free tour of Akiba. Ya

Ya I saw videos of it...looks like a big mass of drunkenness...not my thing...

I guess it's like the dojinshi for games. There where Megaman(Rockman here) Lucky Star, and Haruhi fighting game, Some final fantasy, a lot of Hentai. and they also had some orginal Higurashi no Naku Koron games there.

For those how don't know Higurashi it first started out as an intendant mystery/horror game and then was made into an anime series(with a sequel and an live action movie) and even it's own Manga and Toy line.

Now about the Haruhi game,I can't play it on my laptop because of Windows Vista, the disk doesn't even load, something I have been thinking about this for a while is buying Windows XP for cheap and load it on my other hard drive of my laptop and switching between the two when I need to..or I could just wipe the drive and load XP on here.

Woot! I got it to load I am installing it now. The cool thing is that it has No#1 and No#2 on the same disk, it also cost about 1500yen.

I don't know much about computers, but I hear Vista is a real pain. I have been experimenting with Linux over the past year and a bit, and I think one of these days I'll switch over to that... maybe start with my laptop first and go from there.

So now you've sorted out your Windows problems... can you get the Haruhi game to work?

Theres a Higurashi live action? You heard if its any good? I might have to check it out :) Just finished the first season of Higurashi, it was a pretty crazy anime.

Seen any good Higurashi figures or posters or other cool lil things? I'd love a Mion/Shion (green haired twins) and maybe a Rena (the one with the semi odd big white hat, and huge knife like thing) figure or something, as long as they're not over $30.

Well I installed it into my laptop but everything I try to run it is says something in Japanese and dies.
My laptop is not set up to display error messages in Japanese so I looked like some weird strain of computer characters.

Hey Sakura, if I am unable to find the coffee it there anything else you want?

Phelkis, I thik the Higurashi live action movie is still in production or just an idea they are tossing around. Here is the link to it.

I have seen Higurashi displays in almost every store in Akiba, They have manga, figures, anime, posters and other stuff. The couple of anime series related stuff I see in Akiba #1 EVA, you pretty much can't go any where with out seeing an EVA reference(this could be because of the new movies that are coming out) in any of the anime shops, and some shops that aren't really related to anime, Dragon Ball Z, and GT. This I was really kind of shocked about that, there are toys, posters, and other stuff everywhere. Lucky Star, this is really no big surprise since one of the main characters Konata frequently visits shops in Akiba.
Gundam, again no surprise here I see Gundam in every hobby shop and anime shop. I was never really into gundam all that much, only a few "Mech" anime interest me, like Patlabor, Escaflone, a few of the Macross series(including Robotech..I guess that would the other way around...well they are both from the same series) I have watched an ep of Gundam, it didn't hold my interest...Since the second season had been announced Haruhi is also kind of big there. Also the second season of Genshiken starts after I leave, some time in December so I guess I'll have to get it in Fansub format...

Genshiken 2 is already at episode 3 now.

Sounds like the popular ones there are the popular ones here. Eva has been popular for a long time even without some new movie coming out, and I totally gotta agree with ya about Gundam and most other mech shows.

Any of those Higurashi figures and stuff look worth picking up?

Seeing many cool posters for any shows? I never saw many posters for sale while in Japan.
